Awra Briguela undergoes nose enhancement, says it completes desired 'Latina' look

Content creator Awra Briguela has crossed one item off her bucket list after undergoing a nose enhancement, saying it was the final step in achieving the "Latina" look she had long envisioned for herself.

Awra shared the milestone with her followers on Instagram, posting snippets of the procedure, including footage taken on June 30.

"Matagal ko na talaga siyang gusto. And feeling ko talaga guys, eto na lang yung kulang para maging sobrang Latina na ako," Awra said.

She was quick to clarify, however, that the decision was not driven by insecurity.

"Kidding inside, hindi naman sa sobrang insecurity ko 'yung nose ko kasi maganda naman siya pag naaayusan. But, feeling ko kailangan niya ng enhancement. And feeling ko pag nagawa na 'yung ilong ko, buo na talaga. 'Yun na lang 'yung kulang," she explained.

After the procedure, Awra gave fans a first look at the results, sharing a photo on social media with the caption, "Face card updated."

What was supposed to be a celebratory moment, however, was overshadowed by heartbreaking news.

A day after her surgery, Awra learned that her mother had been diagnosed with cancer, leaving her emotional.

"Ang hiling ko ay sana gumaling na kami parehas," she said.
