Ariana Grande may be giving an old love story another chance.
Nearly a decade after ending their relationship, the Grammy-winning pop star is reportedly back together with former boyfriend Ricky Alvarez, with multiple U.S. media outlets reporting that the pair have quietly reconnected and are taking things slowly.
According to the reports, Grande and Alvarez have been spending time together following the singer's recent split from "Wicked" co-star Ethan Slater.
Grande and Alvarez first met during the singer's "Honeymoon" Tour, where he worked as one of her backup dancers. Their friendship turned romantic in 2015, and they dated for just over a year before splitting in July 2016. Despite the breakup, the two reportedly remained on good terms.
Rumors of a reunion first surfaced in June after Grande and Alvarez were spotted having lunch together in Austin, Texas.
On the career front, Grande is preparing to release her eighth studio album, "Petal" on July 31 as led by the single "hate that i made you love me."
