Six men are facing murder charges over the brazen April 28 ambush that killed a businessman known by the alias "Pamer" and his driver, alias "Coco," along Timog Avenue corner EDSA in Barangay South Triangle, Quezon City.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director PBGen. Randy Glenn Silvio said the six suspects allegedly included the gunman, the driver of the motorcycle used in the crime, two spotters, and two other accomplices.

The complaints were filed before the Quezon City Prosecutor's Office on July 13 following an extensive investigation conducted by the QCPD Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit and Kamuning Police Station 10.

Police said the victims were aboard a white Suzuki S-Presso when two armed men riding a Yamaha Mio 125 motorcycle pulled alongside their vehicle and opened fire, hitting both victims multiple times before they were rushed to East Avenue Medical Center where they were later declared dead.

Investigators recovered the abandoned motorcycle used in the attack along Scout Rallos near Ybardolaza Street, which became one of the key leads in identifying the suspects.

Authorities said CCTV backtracking, witness interviews, digital forensic examination, intelligence validation, GCash transaction verification, and social media profiling helped trace the movements of the suspects before and after the ambush, including the alleged motorcycle driver.

Ballistics examination also matched the spent cartridges recovered from the crime scene with evidence from an earlier shooting in Arayat, Pampanga, indicating the possible use of the same .45-caliber firearm.

Investigators are looking into personal grudge and business conflict as possible motives behind the killings.

The six suspects identified only by their aliases "Uno," "Besa," "Boy," "Bore," "Frapa," and "Pajo" were charged with two counts of murder under Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code, while another suspect who allegedly owns the motorcycle used in the shooting faced a separate complaint under Republic Act No. 11235, or the Motorcycle Crime Prevention Act.

Police said efforts are ongoing to locate and arrest the six suspects as the case progresses.
