A family of three was electrocuted to death in their home in Barangay San Luis, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, on Sunday, July 12.
Police identified the victims as a 36-year-old barangay tanod, his wife, and their son.
Investigation said the father was hanging clothes when the clothesline touched the galvanized iron roof of the house where a live electrical wire was hanging.
The father was electrocuted and his family came to his aid but were also electrocuted.
The victims were discovered by the father of the barangay tanod. They were taken to a hospital where they were declared dead.
The victims are survived by their three-year-old child who was inside their house when the accident happened.
Police are conducting follow-up investigation. The barangay pledged financial assistance to the victims' family.
