Sachzna Laparan says she will not file a complaint against former boyfriend Mark Pascual over the alleged ₱50 million debt involving her and her family.
However, the content creator continues to discuss the issue in interviews and on social media, explaining her side of the breakup and what happened during their relationship.
The situation has raised questions.
For Sachzna, the issue involves more than the money. She has repeatedly talked about trust, the things she discovered during the relationship, and how the controversy affected her name.
During her appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Sachzna clarified that there was no third party involved in their breakup.
She said she considered it a form of betrayal after learning that Mark had borrowed money from other people without her knowledge.
“Ang dami kong hindi nalalaman sa kanya na nalalaman ko na lang sa ibang tao. So for me, cheating ’yun,” Sachzna said.
She added that it happened multiple times.
“Paulit-ulit, hindi lang isang beses. Siguro sampung beses ko nang nalalaman,” she said.
Sachzna said she continued giving Mark chances because she believed he could change.
At what price love?
But she made clear the amount was not the main reason their relationship ended.
“Ang hindi ko po kaya ’yung na-da-drag na ’yung name ko kasi pangalan ko na lang ’yung meron ako,” she said.
Sachzna also said she discovered that Mark had other debts she did not know about.
“Matagal niya sa ’kin tinago na meron pa siyang pinagkakautangan na hindi ko talaga alam,” she said.
She added that she had previously told Mark that discovering more debts would be a breaking point for her.
Despite the amount involved, Sachzna said she does not plan to take legal action.
“Wala rin po ako makukuha sa kanya,” she said.
She also said that other people are already asking Mark to settle his obligations.
“Ang dami pong humahabol sa kanya,” she added.
Apparently, she doesn't want to add to his troubles.
“May care din po ako sa kanya. Naging ex-partner ko din po siya,” she said.
She added that she no longer asks Mark to repay her because she wants to avoid further contact.
“Hindi ko na po siya sinisingil dahil ayoko na po siyang makita at mas mahal po siguro ang peace of mind ko,” Sachzna said.
On his part, Mark cleared Sachzna of any involvement over money he received from investors.
“Walang alam o napala si Sachz sa mga nag-invest sa ’kin,” he wrote on Facebook.
He also revealed he lost the money through cryptocurrency trading.
“I lost 150M in crypto (yes I was stupid doing leverage trading),” Mark said.
Mark later apologized to Sachzna and said he accepts responsibility for his actions.
“I made mistakes, and I take full responsibility for them. No excuses,” he wrote.
He said he is focused on improving himself and paying what he owes.
