Police probing alleged violence involving 2 minors in Dasma school
CAVITE – An alleged violent incident involving two minors at a public high school is being probed by the authorities, the Dasmariñas Component City Police Station (Dasmariñas CCPS) said on Monday, July 14.
Amid posts circulating online that the incident allegedly stemmed from a conflict between learners at the Dasmariñas East Integrated High School, the police declined to provide further details about the case.

“At this time, the matter is under thorough investigation; hence, specific details are being withheld to preserve the integrity of the case and to ensure the protection of the identities of the children involved. The public is assured that appropriate legal procedures and child protection protocols are being strictly observed,” a statement from the police station said.
The Dasmariñas CCPS said the incident is isolated and that the situation has already been contained, with preventive and security measures being reinforced to avoid any similar occurrence.
Dasmariñas East Integrated High School, meanwhile, said its administration is coordinating with the authorities to investigate the case.
The school also appealed to the public to stop spreading false information regarding the incident.

“Mahigpit na panawagan na iwasan ang pagpapakalat ng mga hindi kumpirmadong impormasyon upang hindi malihis ang publiko mula sa katotohanan ng insidenteng ito (The public is strongly urged to refrain from spreading unverified information to prevent misleading the public about the facts surrounding the incident),” the statement read.
The school said it will continue to closely monitor the incident to ensure that those involved receive appropriate intervention based on the results of the investigation.
