Mimiyuuuh's 'clean money' remark about Anne Curtis sparks online debate after Heart Evangelista aide responds

A compliment by content creator Mimiyuuuh about Anne Curtis is now among most talked-about celebrity topics online after Heart Evangelista's personal assistant publicly challenged the remark, igniting debates about celebrity wealth and public perception.

The issue stemmed from a recent vlog featuring Mimiyuuuh and fellow content creator Esnyr, who praised Anne as one of the most down-to-earth celebrities they have met.

During the conversation, Mimiyuuuh said, "We only love Miss Anne in this household kasi siya talaga ang clean money girl."

Esnyr agreed, saying Anne's success was the result of "hard work."

The phrase "clean money" quickly gained traction on social media, with some users interpreting it as an indirect comparison with personalities who have recently faced scrutiny over their wealth.

Among those who responded was Resty Rosell, Heart's longtime personal assistant.

Commenting on an Instagram fan page dedicated to Heart, Rosell tagged Mimiyuuuh and wrote, "Hindi mo need magpasikat, Mi."

He also questioned the basis of the statement, asking, "Ano ba basehan natin sa clean money?"

Rosell further challenged the implication behind the remark, writing, "Gusto mo manampal kami ng financial statement para masabing clean money?"

Screenshots of the comments were later shared on Reddit and other social media platforms, where they quickly went viral. Many users argued that Rosell's response was unnecessarry as it simply amplified rumors.

The latest controversy comes amid heightened public attention surrounding Heart.

Of late, the actress generated buzz for her candid remark on the online show "The People Have Spoken" that she would rather have money than friends. While some viewers saw the comment as a practical reflection on financial security, others criticized it as overly cynical.

Prior, Heart and her husband, Senator Chiz Escudero, have also been the subject of online allegations linking their affluent lifestyle to government funds.

Heart has repeatedly denied the claims, saying the wealth she enjoys comes from decades of work as an actress, entrepreneur, fashion personality and brand collaborator.

The exchange over Mimiyuuuh's "clean money" remark has since divided social media users.

Some defended the content creator, saying she merely praised Anne.
Others said Rosell's reaction reflected how the phrase could be interpreted as casting doubt on the legitimacy of other celebrities' wealth.

As of writing, Mimiyuuuh, Anne and Heart have not issued statements regarding the discussion.
