'Hopefully, we work together': Matt Damon leaves Jericho Rosales stunned with surprise remark

Jericho Rosales got more than just an autograph when he met Hollywood superstar Matt Damon recently. He also walked away with a comment that, according to the Filipino actor, he will never forget.

Rosales met Damon during the premiere of Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated epic "The Odyssey" in Mumbai, India, approaching the Oscar-winning actor like any excited fan.

As seen in an Instagram Reel shared by Rosales, Damon signed an autograph for him after asking him to spell out his name.

"Man, you inspire me so much," Jericho told Damon.

After thanking him for the compliment, the Hollywood star responded with a remark that instantly caught the Filipino actor off guard.

"Hopefully, we work together," Damon said.

The unexpected comment left Rosales visibly overwhelmed.

"I died when he said that," he wrote on Instagram. "I will support this man forever. God bless you, Matt Damon! Thank you. You don't know what that means to me."

Damon's spontaneous remark clearly meant more to Rosales than the autograph itself. It also delighted fans, many of whom flocked to the comments section to express excitement over the possibility, however remote, of seeing the two actors work together in the future.
