Pitbull sets ridiculously bald Guinness World Record
By Ian Ureta
Pitbull has added another achievement to his résumé — gathering a huge number of people willing to voluntarily wear bald caps for several hours in the middle of London's Hyde Park.
The Latin hitmaker officially entered the Guinness World Records during his headline performance at British Summer Time (BST) Hyde Park after an astonishing 22,141 fans simultaneously donned bald caps, creating the largest gathering of people dressed as Pitbull ever recorded. The feat was verified on-site by Guinness officials, marking the first officially adjudicated attempt at the record.
The idea came from BBC Radio 1 presenter Greg James, who jokingly suggested fans embrace one of the singer's most recognizable features.
Pitbull, born Armando Christian Pérez, thanked London, Hyde Park, and the sea of fans affectionately known as the "Bald-és" for helping turn an internet meme into an actual world record.
