For years, Iloilo Bike Festival has reflected the city's rise as the Philippines' biking capital, celebrating a culture built on people-friendly bike lanes, wide streets, and a growing appreciation of active mobility.
As the biggest and longest-running cycling event in the country, Iloilo Bike Festival drew riders from all across the Philippines during the month-long celebration.
Iloilo Business Park, property giant Megaworld’s 72-hectare township in Iloilo, has hosted the festival for more than a decade already, bringing together cyclists, commuters, and mobility advocates from across the City of Love. Over time, the township has witnessed cycling evolve from a mere recreational activity into an increasingly practical way for people to move around the city. The festival’s latest edition broadened its focus, introducing more mobility options alongside traditional cycling activities.
Wide roads, walkable streets, and mobility-friendly corridors connect directly to Iloilo City's bike lane network, allowing cyclists to travel seamlessly between residential communities, corporate offices, retail destinations, hotels, and cultural attractions.
More importantly, Iloilo Business Park functions as an extension of the city's cycling ecosystem rather than a separate destination. Cyclists can easily access office developments, residential condominiums, Festive Walk Mall, the Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art (ILOMOCA), the Emperador Museum, and hotels such as Richmonde Hotel Iloilo, Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo, and the new Belmont Hotel Iloilo. Bike parking and repair stations across the township further support this connectivity, making cycling a practical and convenient way to navigate one of Iloilo City's most dynamic urban districts.
