P39-M multi-purpose building opens in Surigao del Sur

BUTUAN CITY – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-13 recently completed and inaugurated a P39-million, three-story multi-purpose building in San Agustin, Surigao del Sur.
“This multi-purpose building is a big boost to our tourism industry,” San Agustin Mayor Nicolas Alameda said.
The inauguration was led by Surigao del Norte Rep. Romeo S. Momo Sr. and attended by DPWH-Caraga and Surigao del Sur First District Engineering Office officials.
Construction started on July 12, 2024 following the request of the local government unit.
Alameda thanked Momo and DPWH for the building that will benefit the town visited by tourists for island-hopping, swimming, snorkeling, and water sports activities.
