Kim Chiu draws massive crowd in Zamboanga amid sustained online criticism over Ryzza Mae comment

“OMG, ang haba ng pila! Hanggang baba ng building! Let’s go! The line is so long, hanggang baba. Zamboanga, let’s go!” Kim said while waving to fans waiting for her.

True to her reputation for being approachable, Kim went down to personally acknowledge the crowd.

“Hi everyone! Hello po! I love you so much guys! Thank you very much!” she repeatedly told fans.

Because of the number of people wanting photos with her, event marshals eventually had to assist in managing the crowd and keeping the program on schedule.

“Grabe! So amazing! Mamaya, tatandaan kita!” Kim jokingly told a fan as she tried to accommodate as many supporters as possible.

The warm reception in Zamboanga comes amid the actress’ recent social media criticisms, including discussions surrounding the Ryzza Mae Dizon issue.

While online conversations have generated negative comments from some users, Kim’s public appearances continue to draw strong support from her followers.

For many fans, the turnout served as a reminder that social media reactions do not always reflect the sentiment of the wider audience. 

Despite controversies and online scrutiny, Kim continues to remain one of the most visible and supported personalities in Philippine entertainment, with fans showing up for her projects and public appearances.
