Elisse Joson reacts to accusation of being a politician's mistress

Elisse Joson responds after a netizen accuses her of being a politician's mistress. The actress laughs off the allegation and reiterates that the rumors are false.

Elisse Joson quickly shut down a social media user's accusation that she is a politician's mistress after the claim surfaced in the comments section of her latest Instagram post.

The actress was sharing photos and videos from a horseback riding session when one netizen alleged that she was romantically involved with a politician and that the relationship was financing her luxurious lifestyle.

Rather than ignore the comment, Joson responded with a short denial.

"Haha, not true," she wrote.

Ironic that a post simply meant to document her latest hobby, has now led to controversy.

Note the incident also revived a rumor Joson had already addressed earlier this year.

At the time, she firmly denied being involved in any affair and called for an end to the false narratives surrounding her name.

"Time to clear the air—not a kabit. Never was. 2026: minding my own business, building, and choosing peace," she wrote in an earlier statement. "Leaving false narratives in 2025. Entering 2026 lighter."

Joson's most public relationship was with actor McCoy de Leon. The former couple, who share a daughter, ended their relationship in 2025.
