Fresh off from the excitement at the recently concluded Gala Night in Novotel Manila Araneta City, and the opening of the Glam Shot Photo Exhibit in Gateway Mall 2, the Binibining Pilipinas 2026 candidates returned on stage as they paraded their spectacular National Costumes, each beautifully reflecting the pride, history, and culture of their respective hometowns.
The prestigious event was hosted by an all-star lineup of Binibining Pilipinas royalty: Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2025 Annabelle McDonnell, Bb. Pilipinas International 2024 Myrna Esguerra, Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2024 Jasmine Bungay, and The Miss Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne.
A showcase of Filipino excellence
The evening kicked off with the candidates elegantly donning the vibrant bag collection of multi-awarded Filipino designer Zarah Juan, paired with exquisite pieces by Arnel Papa, a pioneer of Filipino high-fashion jewelry. Both designers are prominent advocates for local craftsmanship, providing sustainable livelihoods to indigenous communities while elevating traditional Filipino materials on the global stage.
In a thrilling addition to this year's show, fans and pageant enthusiasts were treated to the live debut of the candidates' Tourism Videos. These cinematic presentations took the audience on a cultural journey across the Philippines, highlighting the remarkable stories, landmarks, and heritage of each delegate's municipality and province.
Adding to the high-energy atmosphere, P-Pop girl group KAIA delivered an electrifying performance of their hit songs, Kaya, Tara Sayaw, & Hulog , setting the perfect tempo for the main runway. All 36 Binibining Pilipinas candidates then commanded the stage in their vibrant and eclectic national costumes, proving the boundless creativity and masterful craftsmanship of local designers.
The Binibining Pilipinas 2026 National Costume Competition was directed by Joemel “Mamu” Ramos, with stage production managed by Aika Events and Productions, Inc.
A competition for a cause
Beyond the glamour, the event underscored the pageant’s commitment to humanitarian causes. Proceeds from the ticket sales of the National Costume Competition will directly benefit families and communities in Mindanao heavily impacted by the recent magnitude 7.8 earthquake. The funds will be coursed through the Philippine Red Cross to support ongoing relief and recovery efforts.
Furthermore, NUSTAR Online generously pledged Php 1 Million to support recovery and rehabilitation initiatives in Mindanao. The donation was formally turned over on stage by NUSTAR Online Brand Manager Alexander Barcela to Governor Ernesto Isla, Chairman of the Board of the Philippine Red Cross – Quezon City Chapter.
