Possible hit-and-run victim found dead in Carmona

CAVITE – A man was found dead on Davilan Road in Barangay Lantic, Carmona City, early Friday morning, July 10, in what police suspect was a hit‑and‑run.

A report from the Police Regional Office 4A (PRO 4A) said the Carmona Component City Police Station (Carmona CCPS) received information about the incident at 12:30 a.m.

Police personnel immediately proceeded to the area to verify the report and found the victim lying on the roadway, which was wet from rainfall.

The police report stated that based on the initial observation, “the victim appeared to have been run over and possibly dragged by an unidentified vehicle.”

A driver’s license recovered from the victim’s pocket provided authorities with a tentative identification of the victim.

Police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, including other parties possibly involved.
