The Pasay City government ordered the immediate removal of signages, billboards, and other advertising materials across the city as a precautionary measure against the possible impact of Typhoon Inday.
Mayor Imelda "Emi" Calixto-Rubiano said the directive forms part of the city’s disaster preparedness measures to protect the public from hazards like falling signboards, billboards, and debris during the typhoon.
Rubiano urged business establishments and advertising operators to comply prompty.
The city government also reminded residents to remain vigilant, monitor official weather bulletins, and follow advisories issued by local authorities and disaster response agencies as "Inday" continues to pose a threat to several parts of the country.
