Marcos approves NEP for next year

President Marcos has approved the 2027 national expenditure program (NEP), Malacañang disclosed.
Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Dave Gomez bared this on Friday afternoon, July 10.
"The Cabinet discussed and approved the 2027 national expenditure program as presented by the DBM (Department of Budget and Management)," Gomez said.
The Press Secretary, however, did not disclose the amount of the approved NEP, saying it is up for the President to disclose such matter.
"On the total amount and other details, we do not want to preempt the President's budget submission to Congress," Gomez said.
