The district said it has heightened operational readiness to ensure immediate public assistance and a coordinated emergency response across the city, in coordination with the local government, the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (QCDRRMO), and other concerned agencies.
QCPD added that it is conducting continuous assessments of manpower, vehicles, rescue equipment, communication systems, and other operational resources to guarantee their immediate deployment when needed.
Police personnel are closely monitoring flood-prone areas, evacuation centers, major roads, transport terminals, and other critical locations to provide assistance, maintain peace and order, and respond promptly to emergencies.
Disaster response teams remain on full standby to conduct search and rescue operations, evacuation assistance, traffic management, law enforcement, and humanitarian response as necessary.
QCPD director Police Brig. Gen. Randy Glenn Silvio assured the public that all police stations are prepared to respond at any time and remain committed to safeguarding lives, protecting property, and maintaining peace and order before, during, and after the onslaught of Super Typhoon “Inday.”
He also urged Quezon City residents to cooperate with authorities, follow advisories and directives issued by the city government and other agencies, and prioritize their safety at all times.
