Maserati has rolled out a coordinated update for the GranTurismo, GranCabrio, and Grecale, giving its grand tourer, convertible, and D-SUV a common set of design, cabin, powertrain, and software changes.
The updates concentrate on details owners will notice from behind the wheel. All three models get a new racing-inspired steering wheel with flat upper and lower sections, a redesigned digital clock with an octagonal form and real metal trim, and a revised PRND selector with more tactile three-dimensional controls. Maserati has also added a low-speed parking function that lets the steering wheel paddles switch between Drive and Reverse, then deactivates once the car goes past 13 km/h.
Outside, the GranTurismo and GranCabrio receive new front bumpers with redesigned air intakes, boundary-layer slits, air curtains, and revised splitters. Both models also get rear lamps with new clear lenses and an available Trident wheel design that widens track by 10 mm. Grecale follows a similar direction with a more pronounced shark-nose front end, revised bumpers and grilles, new body colors, new wheel designs, and Folgore-specific aerodynamic work.
The GranTurismo and GranCabrio ranges stay simple: 490 PS, Trofeo 590 PS, and Folgore. The petrol models use Maserati’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo Nettuno V6 with pre-chamber combustion and cylinder deactivation, paired with an 8-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. The 490 PS GranTurismo makes 600 Nm and reaches 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, while the 590 PS Trofeo has 650 Nm and cuts that to 3.5 seconds. In GranCabrio form, the same outputs are paired with 4.0-second and 3.6-second acceleration times.
The Folgore versions use an 800-volt electric system with three motors, one at the front and two at the rear, and a 92.5-kWh battery with 83 kWh usable capacity. Output is listed at 560 kW, roughly 760 PS, with 1,350 Nm. Both the GranTurismo Folgore and GranCabrio Folgore reach 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. The GranTurismo Folgore gets a 540-km WLTP range and a 325 km/h top speed, while the GranCabrio Folgore is rated at 509 km and 290 km/h. The updated AWD Disconnect system physically disengages the front axle shafts when all-wheel drive is not needed, switching to rear drive in 0.5 second to save energy.
The GranCabrio keeps its four-seat layout and fabric roof, which can be opened in 14 seconds and closed in 16 seconds with the windows down. The roof can be operated at up to 50 km/h. The convertible also offers a neck warmer as standard on Trofeo and Folgore, plus an optional wind stopper.
The Grecale update is broader because of its SUV lineup. The range includes 250 PS and 300 PS mild-hybrid Grecale versions, a 330 PS Modena mild hybrid, 390 PS Grecale V6 and Modena V6 versions, the 530 PS Trofeo V6, and the 550 PS Folgore EV. The V6 models use a 3.0-liter twin-turbo unit with MTC pre-chamber technology, while the four-cylinder mild hybrids use a 48-V system with a belt starter generator, e-Booster, DC/DC converter, and 48-V battery.
The Grecale Trofeo V6 remains the quickest petrol SUV in the family, with 620 Nm, 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, and a 285 km/h top speed. The Grecale Folgore uses a 105-kWh battery, 400-volt architecture, 550 PS, and 820 Nm. Its range now reaches up to 580 km depending on wheel and tire specification, helped by an Air Grille Shutter, underbody changes, lower-rolling-resistance Pirelli tires, and revised thermal and energy recovery strategies.
Across the three models, Maserati has updated the infotainment and safety systems with a 12.3-inch central screen, 8.8-inch comfort display, digital instrument cluster, available head-up display, connected services, and a camera-based driver distraction and drowsiness detection system. Grecale also gets two ADAS packs, while all models continue to offer Sonus faber audio options.
