Hyundai finally brings hybrid power to one of its most loved family models, the Staria. The new Staria Hybrid has just been launched, starting at P1,999,000. It brings together hybrid performance with comfort, connectivity, and versatile space for modern families and professionals. The new hybrid powertrain allows it to achieve an average fuel efficiency of 17.7 Km/L
A bolder presence
It’s hard to miss the new Staria Hybrid on the road, thanks to its futuristic design. This is complemented by new 18-inch alloy wheels, a revamped front grille, and distinctive cube projection LED headlamps.
Smart and premium space
Inside, the new Staria Hybrid is designed to provide even more comfort and convenience. A larger 12.3-inch infotainment display offers a larger interface for entertainment, navigation, and its hybrid fuel economy. Paired with a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, passengers can enjoy an immersive listening experience throughout the cabin. There are also USB Type-C charging ports in the front and back rows, and a wireless charging pad in front.
To free up space, the shifter has been replaced with a steering column-mounted Shift-by-Wire system. The front row gets power seats with lumbar support, along with heated and ventilated functions. Passengers get can an enhanced cabin atmosphere with a dual power and tilt sunroof.
The Staria Hybrid comes in two variants, a nine-seater variant is now made available in a three-row seat configuration. The seven-seater variant has added flexibility through extended seat rails, allowing owners to optimize cargo capacity when needed.
Seamless connectivity
Connectivity is another upgraded aspect as the van is the first in Hyundai’s lineup to feature Bluelink, the brand’s advanced Connected Car Service platform. It uses Hyundai Live Services to let owners access real-time traffic and weather updates directly via the infotainment system without the need to tether a smartphone. Data is refreshed every two minutes making every journey safer and more efficient.
The Bluelink system also supports online voice recognition, allowing users to send and receive text messages while keeping their focus on the road. It also keeps owners informed with vehicle status, diagnostics, and health reports, while enabling remote control of climate settings, door locks, horn, and lights for effortless access even before entering the vehicle.
Enhanced driving
The new Staria Hybrid is equipped with Hyundai SmartSense, an array of advanced safety technologies, engineered with customer safety in mind. These include new features such as the Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist and Side Parking Distance Warning. Supporting this is a set of six airbags strategically integrated throughout the cabin.
Complementing this versatility are Hyundai-exclusive smart hybrid functions such as e-Handling which improves the Staria’s agility and stability while cornering, and e-Ride which enhances ride quality when crossing speed bumps or rapid acceleration, overall providing more control in different driving situations.

Pricing and availability
The new Staria Hybrid is available in three colors: Creamy White, Abyss Black Pearl, and Shimmering Silver Metallic. Exclusive interior colors for the seven-seater and nine-seater premium variants come in Bordeaux Brown and Anthracite Brown, respectively.
The Staria Hybrid is offered in the following prices and variants: 1.6T HEV GL 6AT 9S at P1,999,000; 1.6T HEV GL 6AT 11S at P2,079,000; 1.6T HEV GLS 6AT 9S at P2,389,000; 1.6T HEV Premium 6AT 9S at P2,999,000; and 1.6T HEV Premium Plus 6AT 7S at P3,199,000.
