Chill Ikot is a welcoming initiative for all incoming Engineering students. Whether you're a freshman, shiftee, or transferee, this is your chance to kickstart your engineering journey, meet fellow FSTs, and ease into university life before the semester officially begins! Through fun activities, engaging learning sessions, and opportunities to connect with your future kuyas, ates, and classmates, Chill Ikot helps make your transition into UP Diliman a little less overwhelming and a lot more exciting. After all, every great journey is better with good company.
From July 13 onwards, our trip begins online with fun synchronous and asynchronous activities where you'll meet your Chill Ikot Buddies, fellow Engineering FSTs, and your future kuyas and ates. Get to know the people who might become your future classmates, seatmates, groupmates, or the ones you'll eventually message with the classic, "Guys... may assignment ba?" By the time classes start, those unfamiliar names in the group chat may be the familiar faces you greet around campus.
But, wait. There's more! The ride doesn't stop as we roll into Bootcamp Day 1 on July 29, featuring interactive sessions, activities, and games that introduce key concepts on Physics and Chemistry, followed by Bootcamp Day 2 on July 31, where you'll strengthen your foundations in Mathematics and Basic Circuits through collaborative activities and problem-solving sessions. Learn from professors, speakers, and experienced engineering students as they share insights, tips, and concepts that will help prepare you for your first engineering courses. Whether you're looking to refresh what you already know or get a head start on unfamiliar topics, these sessions are the perfect opportunity to ask questions, explore new ideas, and discover that learning engineering can be both engaging and enjoyable.

And lastly, never kang mabubudol sa TBA because on August 3, hawak mo ang handrail as it's time for the Campus Tour Day! Ride the iconic UP IKOT Jeep, explore important landmarks around UP Diliman, discover essential student spaces, shortcuts, and get to know your new home alongside fellow incoming Engineering students. From the timeless statue of UP Oblation, to the warm golden hues of Sunken Garden, and to the ever-standing Melchor Hall, you'll visit some of the places that will soon become part of your everyday college life. With your kuyas and ates leading the way, you'll gain insider tips on navigating the campus, find the best spots to study and unwind, and start your UP journey with confidence.
