Marcos names Philip Lo as Presidential Assistant for Visayas

President Marcos has appointed Philip Lo as secretary of the Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas, Malacañang said.
Palace Press Officer and Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro announced Lo's designation during a Palace briefing on Wednesday, July 8.
Lo previously served as the chairperson of the Development Bank of the Philippines. He was also the chairman of the Coast Pacific Group of Companies and Toyota Mabolo Cebu, Inc.
He also served as a director in both the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) from 2002 to 2010 and Cocogen Insurance, Inc.
Lo took up a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Santo Tomas.
He has completed specialized training in Corporate Governance.
Meanwhile, Castro also announced that the Marcos also appointed lawyer Nesauro Firme as a new member of the Judicial and Bar Council.
Castro said Marcos is set to administer Lo's and Firme's oath of office.
