The Manila City government received 100 43-inch smart TVs from PAGCOR on Wednesday, July 8, which will be used for public information dissemination, office monitoring, and service delivery in city facilities.
The donation was formally turned over by PAGCOR Assistant Vice President Eric Balcos and Senior Manager Rydel De Guzman during a ceremony at Manila City Hall, and was received by Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso and Vice Mayor Chi Atienza.
Domagoso thanked PAGCOR for its continued partnership with the city, noting that the donation reflects the importance of collaboration between government institutions in improving services for Manileños.
He said the smart TVs will complement the city’s ongoing modernization efforts as the local government continues to adopt technology to enhance operations and public service delivery.
The mayor also assured that the donated units, along with other contributions received by the city government, will be used responsibly and in ways that directly benefit residents.
PAGCOR has been supporting various local government units through donations and assistance programs aimed at strengthening public service and community development.
