Hardware truck hijacked in Quezon

PAGBILAO, Quezon – Five unidentified men hijacked a truck loaded with hardware products in Sitio Upper Sapinit, Barangay Malicboy, this town, on Saturday.

Investigation said the armed suspects onboard a Toyota Innova blocked the Isuzu wing van truck bound for Sorsogon, restrained the driver and helper, and abandoned them in Tayabas City, Quezon.

The incident was reported to the police who recovered the truck in Barangay Santa Catalina, Atimonan, Quezon.

Some cargo was found missing during inspection.

Police are conducting manhunt operations and follow-up investigation.
