Christofle's newest porcelain collection brings Mediterranean warmth and color to the dining table

Rays of Mediterranean sunshine arrived in Manila as French luxury maison Christofle unveiled its newest porcelain collection, Malmaison Riviera, last June 30 at the fourth floor of Rustan's Makati.

Founded in Paris in 1830, Christofle has long been synonymous with fine silverware and exceptional tableware, supplying royal households and adorning some of the world's most celebrated dining tables.
The latest addition to Christofle's iconic Malmaison line reimagines the house's classic Empire-inspired tableware through the relaxed elegance of the French Riviera. While the original Malmaison collection is known for its timeless white porcelain accented with gold or platinum, Malmaison Riviera introduces a warm, watercolor-like yellow that instantly brightens the table.
Its signature motifs, including palmettes and rosettes inherited from the historic Malmaison collection, are reinterpreted with a lighter, more contemporary touch. Comprising around 15 fine porcelain pieces with hand-drawn decorative details, the collection includes dinner and dessert plates, serving platters, bowls, mugs, tea and coffee cups, and a cake stand. Silver-plated accessories, including napkin rings, knife rests, place card holders, and coasters, complete the collection.

Named after the Château de Malmaison, the former residence of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and Empress Joséphine, the Malmaison collection has embodied French refinement for more than a century. Malmaison Riviera continues that legacy with a more contemporary interpretation, designed not only for formal occasions but also for everyday gatherings.
Christofle's latest collection is available at Rustan's Makati.
