Man stabs co-worker after heated argument over religion, politics
A man allegedly stabbed his co-worker during a drinking session in San Juan City following a heated argument over religion and politics.

The San Juan City Police Station said the incident occurred on June 30, while the suspect, identified only as “Ricky,” the victim, and several companions were having a drinking session inside their barracks in Barangay West Crame, San Juan City.
While drinking, authorities said a heated argument allegedly over religion and politics ensued. The victim decided to leave the area to avoid further confrontation.
However, the suspect allegedly suddenly pulled out a folding knife and stabbed the victim in the left side of the abdomen.
Another co-worker immediately intervened and restrained the suspect, allowing the victim and other workers to seek assistance from nearby patrolling police officers and barangay watchmen.
The victim was rushed to San Juan Medical Center, where he was admitted for surgery.
The suspect was later arrested at the construction site. The bladed weapon used in the incident was also recovered.
Ricky is currently in police custody and is facing a frustrated homicide charge.
