K-pop artist Kim Sung-kyu, leader of boy band Infinite, reunited with Filipino fans after nearly 11 years.
Sung-kyu recently held his "LV4: Leap To Vector" concert in Manila at the Skydome at SM North EDSA and thanked fans for their support.
The Manila show marked the final overseas stop of his tour. He will conclude the "LV4: Leap To Vector" tour with a two-day concert in Busan, South Korea, on July 18 and 19.
"Every moment I met the citizens across borders in various cities. LV4, filled with precious memories that are irreplaceable. As I bring the curtain down on my overseas journey today, thanks to the affectionate support from the citizens in Manila, the memories we have built up have been etched into my heart with even deeper emotion," he said.
He added, "To all the citizens in Manila who stayed by my side until late at night, accompanying Sungkyu's footsteps! Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
Sung-kyu began the tour in March in Seoul before visiting Macau, Hong Kong, Taipei, Ho Chi Minh City, Kaohsiung and Manila, where he spent time interacting with fans in each city.
The "LV" series is Sung-kyu's solo concert brand, which was launched in 2022.
His setlist included "Over It," "Till Sunrise" and "41 Days," along with fan favorites "I Need You," "Fade," "Because" and "60 Seconds." He also performed "Shine," "Small Talk," "Climax," "Portrait," "When I Think About You" and "Kontrol."
Through his agency, Sung-kyu said, "I was able to successfully complete this overseas tour schedule entirely thanks to the fans around the world who sent their unsparing support. I was deeply moved at every moment by the passionate cheers from the fans I met in each city."
"I intend to carry on the energy I fully recharged overseas and devote myself to preparing for the upcoming Busan concert. As this is the final performance to cap off 'LV4,' I plan to repay you with a stage that is more polished than ever and leaves no room for regret. I ask for your great anticipation and support for the upcoming Busan concert," he added.
