Though new to the entertainment industry, Thai-British actor Tate Myron is quickly making a name for himself. The 22-year-old actor has captured widespread attention with his breakout role as Police Captain M.L. Ronnajak Juthathep in the hit drama series "Dhevaprom: Jaipisut," proving that his rising career is only just beginning.
During an intimate interview, the actor shared his experience starting his acting career in Thailand.
"I think it's a leap of faith, because I think anybody entering any industry is, you know, a step in a new direction. I was very nervous, and also because my Thai wasn't so good when I first started. That was something that I had to work on and make sure that I got that up to a level where it was... It would help me be able to work. And now, I'm feeling a lot more confident," Tate said.
Gaining attention from other Asian countries, Tate belied assumption there is huge pressure on his part.
"It doesn't bother me. I think it's nice that people care, and it's nice that I've been told that people care. And I think that, for me, my job is to just make sure that I do the work and do it well and hope that people can enjoy it," he added.
The actor also shared his first impression upon arriving in the Philippines.
"Everybody is very nice. Everybody always greets me with a smile, and everybody has such a high level of engagement with the things that I'm doing. And being able to work with such talented videographers, photographers, and directors here, it made me realize, like, wow, there are so many kinds of people in the field that I would love to work with," he said.
Aside from working with talented Filipino creatives, Tate shared that many of his Filipino fans have recommended local delicacies for him to try. They also encouraged him to visit some of the country's beaches.
"I knew that Filipino food was supposed to be very good, and it is very good. And I also knew that there were some really beautiful islands and beaches here that I really want to visit. So I will be coming back to do that," he added.
Despite his short trip, Tate got to experience the famous adobo and chicken inasal.
"Yes, I had Filipino food this morning and last night. The one that's off the top of my head is the adobo. Chicken adobo is very good, and the beef tapa and the chicken inasal is also good.

"I am truly honored to become part of the IAM Worldwide family. From the moment we first met, I immediately felt the warmth and passion of the IAM team. Their generosity and willingness to support my career made me excited to visit the Philippines and explore opportunities here. He also added that saying yes to being part of a wellness-focused brand can help him encourage the younger generation to take care of themselves more and be confident.
"What made me say yes was really the positivity and purpose behind the brand. It is not just about their products. It's about encouraging people to take care of themselves, improve their lifestyle, and become more confident in who they are.
As an actor, I’ve realized how important wellness is, not only physically but also mentally and emotionally, especially with a busy schedule and constant travel. So partnering with a brand that promotes balance and self-improvement felt very natural to me."
Fans can look forward to exclusive campaign updates, behind-the-scenes content, and special digital collaborations featuring the young Thai actor on IAM Worldwide's official social media platforms.
