P17-M cocaine, shabu recovered in Sulu

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Suspected cocaine and shabu valued at P17 million were seized during an operation in Jolo, Sulu on Wednesday, July 1.
A 28-year-old suspected drug pusher, a resident of Barangay Tulay, Jolo, Sulu, was arrested by the Jolo Municipal Police Station.
Recovered from the suspect were cocaine weighing three kilograms and worth P15.9 million and 200 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P1.35 million.
The suspect is facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
