Inchcape Philippines announces sale of Mazda retail operations
Bermaz Auto, distributor of Mazda, to take ownership

- Inchcape Philippineshas entered into an agreement to sell its Mazda Pasig C5 retail operations to Bermaz Auto Philippines Inc.
Inchcape Philippines, through one of its retail arms, ICATS Asian Motors Inc., and Mazda Philippines (Bermaz Auto Philippines Inc.) announced that ICATS Asian Motors Inc. has entered into an agreement to sell its Mazda Pasig C5 retail operations to Bermaz Auto Philippines Inc., effective 1 August 2026.
Throughout the transition period, ICATS Asian Motors and Bermaz Auto Philippines will work closely together to support continuity for customers, partners and employees and to ensure a seamless transition of the Mazda Pasig C5 retail operations in Metro Manila.
The Mazda brand was one of several under the Inchcape Philippines portfolio. It used to operate in Greenhills before moving to C5 Pasig. The move to sell the retail business is part of its disciplined and strategic approach to active portfolio management, ensuring the business remains focused on the brands, capabilities and market opportunities best aligned with its long-term strategic priorities in the Philippines.
Bermaz Auto Philippines will continue to support the Mazda brand, the dealership network, and most importantly, the Mazda customers and its intention to support the brand's next chapter in the Philippine market.

Inchcape and Mazda have not stated whether Mazda C5 will remain in place under new management, will move to a new location, or will be closed completely. However, the lot where Mazda C5 currently stands is owned by the Inchcape group.
All parties remain focused on ensuring a smooth transition process, with further details to be shared with relevant stakeholders as plans are finalized.
Inchcape Philippines is a joint venture between Inchcape and CATS Group of Companies. It is the distributor of brands like Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram, Jaguar and Land Rover, Changan Auto, as well as operating a dealership for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles.
