Human foot found in box in Antipolo trash pile

Authorities are investigating the discovery of a human foot inside a box dumped in a garbage pile in Antipolo City, Rizal, on Tuesday, June 30.
The Antipolo Component City Police Station (CCPS) said the body part was found around 4:30 p.m. in Sitio 5, Purok Kurota, Barangay Cupang, by a garbage collector during the area’s scheduled pickup.
The witness told police the box was retrieved from trash discarded by residents. Upon opening it, the witness saw what appeared to be a human foot and immediately reported the find.
Investigators are working to identify the owner of the body part and determine how it ended up in the garbage pile, as well as any individuals who may be involved.
