To further advance the infrastructure development, the Philippine Constructors Association (PCA) brought the industry together through PHILCONSTRUCT 2026, Southeast Asia’s leading construction expo. A trade show presenting the latest advancements in architecture, engineering, construction, interior design, and building technologies, at SMX Convention Center Manila and MOA Concert Grounds, last June 25-28, 2026.
For 36 years, PHILCONSTRUCT has been a prominent driver of the progression of nation-building. This is evident in the recently concluded event, while centering on the theme “Responsible Construction for a Resilient Philippines,” focusing on the future of sustainable and disaster-resilient engineering.
With over 1,000 local and international exhibitors and brands, the showcase presented a display of technological innovation in the construction industry. From construction and building materials to architectural designs and digital solutions, guests were able to explore the industry’s finest innovations inside SMX Convention Center Manila. Additionally, HVAC/R Philippines, an event featuring the newest in energy-efficient indoor air quality and climate control systems, was hosted at the expo. At SM MOA Concert Grounds, on the other hand, heavy commercial equipment, industrial vehicles, and live machinery demonstrations were exhibited.
Philconstruct Ambassador, Mr. Albert Martinez.
More than building, the industry values the connection of those who share the same values and ideals. “PHILCONSTRUCT is more than just machines, materials, and massive equipment — although let’s admit, those are always fun to see. What really makes this event special are the people behind it.” In an opening speech by Philconstruct Ambassador Mr. Albert Martinez, he highlighted the builders, engineers, architects, suppliers, contractors, and innovators who made the exhibition possible, leading to a robust Philippines.
Philconstruct Series Chairman Engr. Ruben Cueto.
Philconstruct Series Chairman Engr. Ruben Cueto added, “When people hear construction, they usually think about buildings, roads, bridges, cranes, and hard hats. But for me, construction has always been about people, the friendships, partnerships, teamwork, and the community that we built over the decades.” Solidifying that PHILCONSTRUCT is more than construction, it is a movement to build a nation that stands the test of time and is ready for a sustainable future.
PCA President Engr. Gerardo "Jerry" V. Pancho.
With a community that upholds the same vision, nation-building fortifies. “The Philippines continues to move forward because Pilipinas continue to build forward,” says PCA President Engr. Gerardo "Jerry" V. Pancho.
The true strength behind our country’s nation-building lies in the collaborative spirit of the people within the industry. As PHILCONSTRUCT 2026 comes to a close, it leaves behind a more sustainable and unified sector. By merging cutting-edge infrastructure technology with a shared purpose, this event proved that the future of Philippine infrastructure is both resilient and bright.
