Herlene Budol opens up about love life, marriage plans: 'Nasa tamang panahon yan'
Actress and TV host Herlene Budol looked radiant as she graced drag club Rampa in Quezon City recently.
She was accompanied by actor-model Kevin Dasom.
Speculation about the pair's relationship has been circulating for quite some time, prompting many to wonder if Herlene would finally address the rumors.
Apparently not.
Asked about the state of her heart, Herlene simply replied, "Happy naman ako, sobrang daming nagpapasaya ng puso ko."
When asked if she sees marriage in her future, she said, "Of course. Sino ba namang babae ang hindi gustong ikasal? Nasa tamang panahon 'yan, nasa tamang tao 'yan."
The conversation then shifted to pageantry.
Asked if she plans to join another beauty pageant anytime soon, Herlene answered, "Why not, di ba? Pero tingnan natin yung tamang panahon."
She then revealed that she had been invited to compete in this year's Miss Grand All Stars.
"Dapat this year, may nag-invite sa akin. Sila Sir ALV (Arnold Vegafria), ayan. Pero nasa tamang panahon pa rin po talaga siya. Ayoko namang i-disclose rin na umayaw ako or ayaw nila sa akin. Pero parang nasa point na nasa tamang panahon po 'yung pagbabalik. If ever, kapag hindi na inabutan ng tanda. Kasi patanda na rin po ako nang patanda," Herlene shared.
Herlene last competed at Miss Grand Philippines 2023, where she was crowned Miss Philippines Tourism.
Meanwhile, Herlene is set to star in the upcoming horror film "Haunted Bride," which will stream on Star SineMax.
She will share the screen with award-winning actor Mon Confiado.
A brief description of the film reads: "Seeking a way out of poverty, Mikhaela agrees to marry Sandro, a man of wealth. But life inside his ancestral home soon reveals terrors tied to the memory of his late wife, Farrah."
Herlene is also set to headline another Star SineMax film, this time opposite Kevin.
She hinted that the project will have a "Tarzan and Jane" vibe.
