PH airport ground handler wins 3 global awards
Philippine Airport Ground Support Solutions, Inc. (PAGSS) has been recognized with three major awards from Air France-KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, highlighting its excellence in safety, passenger service, and operational efficiency.
The awards were presented during a recognition ceremony at Man Ho Restaurant, Marriott Hotel Manila, by Mr. Jonas Gustafsson, regional station manager for Southeast Asia and Oceania of Air France-KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, together with Ms. Krystine Kay Baligod, station manager for Manila.
Receiving the honors on behalf of PAGSS were Janette Cordero, president and CEO; Ricky Dale Tagabucba, head of operations; Roy Magsayo, vice president for safety, security and quality assurance; Jen Chiong, vice president for passenger services – Manila Station; and Angelo Dyoco, vice president for marketing and contracts.
PAGSS was commended for maintaining a flawless safety record in 2025, earning the Zero Safety Incident award.
The Manila Station also ranked first in Friendliness, Attentiveness, and Boarding Experience among all Air France-KLM stations in Southeast Asia and Oceania, reflecting its commitment to passenger care.
Most notably, PAGSS achieved the fastest turnaround performance across all KLM stations worldwide, securing the No. 1 Station Process Time award.
These achievements add to PAGSS’ long history of recognition from Air France-KLM for safety, efficiency, and service quality.
For more than three decades, the company has provided ground handling services to international airlines across Philippine airports, investing continuously in people, systems, and safety programs.
