The Parañaque City government has adopted a Digital ID system for the Mayor's work permit as part of its ongoing efforts to streamline public services, enhance accessibility, and promote environmentally sustainable practices.
The Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) under the supervision of Atty. Melanie Malaya announced that the Digital Mayor's Permit ID will now serve as the official and valid identification for all registered holders of occupational or work permits in the city.
Mayor Edwin Olivarez said the initiative is expected to make the application and verification process more efficient while reducing the use of printed identification cards, in line with the local government's push for digital governance and environmentally friendly practices.
Olivarez said that under the new system, qualified applicants and existing permit holders can securely access their official Digital Mayor's Permit ID through the city's online platform.
He said that individuals applying for or renewing their occupational or work permits may submit their applications through the BPLO's online portal at https://app.bploparanaque.com/omps.
The city government encouraged all occupational permit holders to use the digital platform, saying the initiative reflects Parañaque's commitment to delivering faster, more accessible, and technology-driven public services for residents and workers.
