DAVAO CITY – Authorities arrested on Friday, June 26, three of four suspects in the shooting of a fresh graduate in Pantukan, Davao de Oro on Thursday, June 25.
The Davao de Oro Provincial Police Office said the suspects were arrested less than 24 hours in a hot-pursuit operation.
Recovered by the Pantukan Municipal Police Station from the suspects were a caliber .45 pistol believed to have been used in the attack, bullets, and a gray minivan allegedly used as a getaway vehicle.
The alleged gunman and two accomplices were captured in separate locations within the municipality.
Police said that the victim identified the shooter through a police lineup while witnesses identified the two other suspects as companions of the gunman during the incident.
The victim was onboard his vehicle when he was shot after attending his graduation at the Kolehiyo ng Pantukan. Police are pursuing the fourth suspect. The victim is in stable condition.
