Organized by the Quezon City government, Pride PH Coalition, and UP Diliman, the festival united members of the LGBTQIA+ community, allies, and partner organizations for one of the country’s biggest Pride Month celebrations.
The event featured the Pride Expo, Pride March, Pride Night, and Pride Villages.
Activities began at 8 a.m. with the opening of the gates, Pride Expo, and QueerCon, followed by community programs, exhibits, and partner booths at Maginhawa Pride Village.
The Grand Pride March started at 1 p.m., while Pride Night was set to begin at 6 p.m. with concerts, drag performances, runway shows, and other entertainment until midnight.
Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte reaffirmed the city’s commitment to inclusivity, saying Quezon City will continue to be a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community through initiatives, policies, and programs. She also highlighted the partnership among the city government, Pride PH, UP Diliman, and allies in advancing equal rights.
To support festival-goers, the city deployed security personnel, traffic enforcers, healthcare workers, and emergency response teams. Attendees also had access to services such as HIV testing, mental wellness consultations, cervical cancer screening, social assistance, and PhilHealth support.
Government agencies, private institutions, and advocacy groups joined the celebration, including the Commission on Human Rights (CHR), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), National Youth Commission (NYC), Plan International Philippines, Nestlé Philippines, TaskUs, Smart, and Converge.
The program featured performances from local artists and drag performers, including Jace Roque, Pixie Labrador, and rising P-Pop group Wrive. Messages of support were also shared by San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora and Miss Universe Philippines 2026 Beatriz Millan-Windorski.
The first QC Pride Dance Competition showcased barangay participation, with Barangay Pasong Tamo emerging as champion, followed by Barangay Bungad and Barangay Sangandaan.
Despite the rain, organizers ensured that programs, stages, and safety measures remained in place. Families, friends, and allies filled the festival grounds at UP Diliman, celebrating with colorful expressions of pride, unity, and hope.
