Jericho Rosales has come out to assure the public that his younger brother, Jeremiah Rosales, is safe, this, after social media posts seeking help in locating him sparked concern online.
In a statement shared through his official Facebook page on June 26, the actor clarified that Jeremiah is no longer missing and is now with their family in the province.
"Hello everyone. Thank you for your concern. Jeremiah, my brother, is not missing. He is safe and is with our family in the province. God bless you all," Jericho wrote.
The clarification came a day after Jeremiah's wife, Jhen Go, appealed for public assistance in finding him.
Jhen later confirmed that Jeremiah had already reconnected with his family. She also shared that he had been scheduled to re-enter a rehabilitation program before leaving home.
According to Jhen, Jeremiah previously underwent rehabilitation in 2024 but did not complete the one-year program. She said the family believed he had already recovered at the time, but he eventually relapsed after reconnecting with old acquaintances.
Jhen also described Jericho as a father figure to his younger brother, saying the actor has long looked after Jeremiah and was the one who arranged for his treatment.
The siblings have worked together in the past, appearing in the films "Breakaway" and "Baler."
Jericho has likewise been open about his own past struggles. In previous interviews, the actor revealed that he experimented with illegal drugs during his teenage years before eventually turning his life around. He has since encouraged young people to avoid substance abuse and surround themselves with positive influences.
