Hong Kong Disneyland
Many Filipinos likely point to Hong Kong Disneyland as their first Disneyland. In over 20 years of operating, it has consistently given families timeless and happy memories. This summer, Pixar has taken over Disneyland with the Pixar Summer Fest. Cool off with iconic characters from “Inside Out,” “Toy Story,” and “Turning Red” at the Pixar Water Play Street Party. Then, come nighttime, wrap things up by enjoying the eight-minute show combining glowing drones, fountains, and giant inflatables.

Ocean Park Hong Kong
Looking to cool down? Penguin Expedition at Ocean Park Hong Kong offers a chilling experience of witnessing penguins roaming about. Some march around in straight lines, while others wave and wait to be fed with fish. One of the most visited attractions in the park, however, is the Giant Panda Adventure. Many visitors come to witness the young twin pandas, Jia Jia and De De, along with their mom and dad. There are also red pandas scurrying about in the enclosure to wave at.

For sports lovers, the Dragon Boat Festival is not one to miss. Over 220 international teams duke it out over a series of races along Victoria Harbor. Team Philippines is expected to compete as well. Guests can also expect good eats at the Dragon Boat Food Lane, a lively Beer Garden, and family photo-ops at the exclusive “Minions and Monsters” photo installation.
