A weekend of connection, creativity, and community awaits at May-December Affair this July

Love knows no season—whether summer or winter, autumn or spring. As spring approaches and a new year of possibilities begins, an even bigger and lovelier community gathering is set to unfold. “May-December Affair: Another Community Love Affair to Remember” will once again bring the community together for a memorable weekend.
As experienced during its debut, the marketplace buzzed with activity, featuring a curated roster of merchants offering unique finds—from artisan brands and gourmet food and beverages to premium, handcrafted lifestyle products not typically found in conventional shopping centers. Beyond shopping and dining, the community enjoyed engaging activities such as a flower-arranging and rose reflexology mini-workshop, tie-dye shirt making, live doodle art, tarot card reading, and a series of pop talks on fashion, personal enrichment, and wellness. Live music from a busker added to the festive atmosphere.
The community showed up in full force—and stayed longer. Families, friends, couples, and solo leisure seekers attended, along with the merchants’ loyal patrons and their own families and friends. New acquaintances were formed, many of which may blossom into lasting friendships.
Networks expanded, and May-December Affair evolved into a platform for both personal growth and business opportunities, transforming the event into a meaningful communal endeavor. Altogether, it fostered a vibrant and creative community in San Lorenzo Village, Makati City—one that will continue to be nurtured year-round, across seasons, generations, and interests.

For its upcoming run in July, the marketplace will feature an expanded lineup of merchants, promising a fresh and exciting shopping and dining experience. In addition, a significant portion of the venue will be dedicated to art, advocacy, and personal actualization. Carefully selected artists and social entrepreneurs whose visions align with serving communities and supporting SMEs will be featured, creating experiences that enrich individuals, remain accessible, and provide opportunities for skilled workers.
Through strategic collaborations, these participants are provided complimentary booth spaces, allowing them to showcase their brands and businesses to a wider audience. More importantly, the initiative serves as a way to pay it forward by supporting the livelihoods of deserving communities.
True to its vision of connecting communities and elevating experiences, this community love affair welcomes everyone who shares the same values. It is an open invitation to come together, forge meaningful connections, and create lasting memories.
May-December Affair returns on July 11 and 12, 2026 (Saturday and Sunday), from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the Covered Court and Outdoor Plaza of the San Lorenzo Village Clubhouse in Makati City. Admission is free. Non-residents and visitors may enter through the Makati Avenue gate.
