3 robbery suspects wounded in NLEX Toll Plaza shootout

BOCAUE, Bulacan — Three alleged members of a robbery gang were wounded in a firefight with police along the southbound lane of Barangay Turo at the NLEX Toll Plaza Friday afternoon, June 26.
The suspects were rushed to a hospital for treatment as crime scene investigators secured the area and collected evidence.
Col. Jay B. Baybayan, acting provincial director of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office, said the group has been linked to at least 21 robbery holdup cases across CALABARZON and Central Luzon.
Police said the probe is ongoing and urged the public to await verified updates, cautioning against speculation while the investigation continues.
