3 minors drown in Laguna lake

SANTA ROSA CITY, Laguna – Three minors – two girls and one boy – drowned in a lake in Barangay Sinalhan here on Thursday evening, June 25.
Police identified the victims as LM, three; MM, 12, and JB, seven, all residents of the barangay.
Initial investigation said that the victims were playing in the rain then waded into the deep portion of the lake until their grandmother saw them drowning.
Neighbors rescued the victims and taken to a hospital where they where they were declared dead.
Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
