P200K shabu seized in Antipolo sting

Police seized over ₱190,000 worth of suspected shabu and arrested a 47-year-old suspect during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Cupang, Antipolo City, on Wednesday night, June 24.
Operatives from the Antipolo Police Station’s Drug Enforcement Team conducted the entrapment operation at around 9:50 p.m., resulting in the arrest of a certain “Boy.”
Confiscated from the suspect’s possession were 11 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 28 grams, with an estimated value of ₱190,400.
Police also recovered a coin purse, a cellular phone, and the ₱1,000 bill used as buy-bust money.
Charges will be filed against the suspect for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Rizal Police Provincial Office (PPO) director Col. Eleazar R. Barber Jr. said the police force recognizes the efforts of the officers in ridding the province of illegal activities.
