President Marcos has conveyed his sympathies to the Venezuelan people following a series of powerful earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24.
In a message on Thursday, June 25, Marcos said he was deeply saddened over the devastating earthquakes that struck the country's northern coast.
"Deeply saddened by the devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela. On behalf of the Filipino people, I extend our heartfelt sympathies," Marcos said.
The President said the Filipino people stand in solidarity with Venezuelans in this challenging time.
"The Philippines stands in solidarity with the Venezuelan people during this difficult time and hopes for the safety and swify recovery of all communities affected," Marcos said.
Two strong earthquakes—magnitude 7.2 and 7.5—struck Venezuela on Wednesday.
