Philhost 2026 champions sustainability through purpose, impact, and action
Philhost (Philippine Hospitality on Sustainable Tourism) will welcome more than 200 hospitality industry stakeholders at Ascott BGC on 2 July 2026 for a full day of discussions focused on sustainability best practices, challenges, and opportunities within the tourism and hospitality sector.
As the only event of its kind in the Philippines dedicated to connecting global sustainability expertise with local industry knowledge, PHILHOST 2026 will feature workshops and panel discussions on key topics, including food waste management, the circular economy, green teams, and sustainable development. The event will also spotlight the next generation of hospitality leaders as they take an active role in shaping a more sustainable future for the industry.
With this year's theme, “Sustainability in Focus: Purpose. Impact. Action.”, PHILHOST aims to move beyond conversation and inspire meaningful change. The event is designed as a platform for industry professionals to share best practices, collaborate on solutions, and ensure that no stakeholder is left behind in the sustainability journey.

We have attendees from all over the Philippines as well as global industry representatives to participate.”
Eric Ricaurte, CEO of Greenview and PHILHOST co-organizer, emphasized the importance of collective action in driving sustainable transformation.
“We are proud to support PHILHOST for its fifth year. It has become the preeminent forum for sharing best practices and rallying the hotel industry in the Philippines toward more sustainable operations,” Ricaurte said. “For individual hotels, sustainability can seem complex and challenging—from understanding standards and criteria to accessing the right resources. However, through collective effort and collaboration, meaningful progress is possible.”
