Muntinlupa, other areas go waterless due to Maynilad maintenance work
Maynilad Water Services has implemented daily water service interruptions in Muntinlupa and other areas.
In an advisory, Maynilad said affected customers are in parts of of Bacoor City, Caloocan City, Imus City, Kawit, Cavite, Las Pinas City, Makati City, Manila, Malabon City, Muntinlupa City, Navotas City, Paranaque City, Pasay City, Quezon City and Valenzuela City.
The water service interruptions started on June 23 and will last until June 30 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
In Muntinlupa, the affected areas are portions of Barangays Poblacion, Tunasan and Putatan.
Maynilad said this was “due to urgent network maintenance and system optimization activities aimed at improving network performance and service reliability. Normal service schedule is expected to resume by July 1, 2026.”
It advised affected customers “to store enough water in advance for their needs during the interruption period. Mobile water tankers will be deployed in affected areas to assist customers. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.”
The company said customers can receive account-specific service interruption schedules and other advisories through text messages by typing MAYNILADON [CONTRACT ACCOUNT NUMBER] and sending it to 09191626000.
