- Taiwanese stars Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Vanness Wu, and Ashin donate PHP2.5 million to GMA Kapuso Foundation's Operation Bayanihan to help Mindanao earthquake victims ahead of their Philippine Arena reunion concert.
Members of the iconic Taiwanese group F4 together with Ashin have provided additional humanitarian support for victims of the Mindanao earthquake, donating P2.5 million to ongoing relief operations in the Philippines ahead of their upcoming concert.
The GMA Kapuso Foundation confirmed the donation through its official social media pages, saying the amount was turned over for Operation Bayanihan, which continues to assist communities affected by the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Sarangani on June 8, 2026 and caused extensive damage across parts of Mindanao.
The foundation said the contribution will help sustain relief and rehabilitation efforts as displaced families work toward recovery in the aftermath of the disaster.
In its statement, GMA Kapuso Foundation highlighted the artists’ long-standing connection with Filipino audiences, noting the enduring support they have received since the rise of “Meteor Garden” in the early 2000s.
“Beyond their legendary artistry, the global superstars have consistently shown immense love for their Filipino fans. Through this immediate financial aid, they hope to bring urgent comfort and essential support to displaced communities striving to recover from the natural disaster,” the foundation said.
It added, “This meaningful contribution reflects the group's enduring bond with the Philippines, further strengthening the connection they have built with Filipino fans through the years.”
Note the group also extended further assistance via ABS-CBN Foundation through its Sagip Kapamilya program, which is also involved in earthquake relief efforts.
The donation comes ahead of the "F✦FOREVER" World Tour Philippine stop scheduled on June 27 at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.
F4, formed in 2001 after the success of the Taiwanese drama “Meteor Garden,” which starred the late Barbie Hsu.
