PH Team bags 14 medals at 2026 Stemco Mathematics Global Finals in Singapore
The Philippine Team at Stemco Mathematics Global Finals
The Philippine team brought home 14 medals from the 2026 Stemco Mathematics Global Finals held in Singapore from June 19 to 21.
The team, composed of math-gifted students from various parts of the country won two gold, two silver, six bronze medals and four honorable mention citations.
Winning the gold medals are Alexander Franco Alcayde of Isulan Central School and Alixter Shaun Chua of Grace Christian College.
The silver medalists are Primo Lourix Casil of First Asia Institute of Tech and Humanities and Jeron Cedric Tan of Mother Goose Special Schools System.
The bronze medal winners are Zachariah Vincent Abenoja of Elizabeth Seton School -- Las Pinas, Zhicheng Xu of Pace Academy, Rudy Aldrin Turingan of Holy Spirit Academy of Malolos, Lemuel Hari Plana of Phil. Science High School Ilocos Region, Philippe Johann Panganiban of Colegio San Agustin Binan and Antonio Pio Vivo of San Beda College Alabang.

Meanwhile. 4 are cited honorable mention: Janna Ireene Cruz of Colegio San Agustin Makati, Amber Lorraine Angcao of Isabela National High School. Lael Hale Plana of St. Paul College of Ilocos Sur and Jared Cedric Tan of Mother Goose Special Schools System.
Students from the following nations also took part in the contest held at the National University of Singapore: Thailand, Indonesia, Turkey, Cambodia, Vietnam, Serbia, Georgia, Uzbekishtan, and host Singapore.
Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam also brought home medals from the contest.
