Murder, frustrated murder cases filed vs Tacloban school gunman

TACLOBAN CITY – Police filed on Tuesday night three counts of murder, three counts of frustrated murder, and multiple counts of serious physical injuries against the 15-year-old child in conflict with the law involved in the shooting at San Jose National High School on Monday.
The CICL and witnesses arrived at the Bulwagan ng Katarungan here for inquest proceedings at 9 p.m.
The 14-year-old CICL is under the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development for intervention. He will be confined at the Regional Rehabilitation for Youth in Tanauan, Leyte. No cases were filed against him as he is exempt from criminal liability for his age.
The two CICLs tested positive during the paraffin test. They also tested positive for gun powder nitrates, including the firearms recovered from them. Both are right-handed.
Three students were killed and 20 were injured during the incident.
