Published Jun 22, 2026 09:40 am
Riot Games Philippines has officially unveiled its highly anticipated Wild Rift 2026 Roadmap, introducing an accessible, community-focused competitive ecosystem. This year’s roadmap headlines Wild Rounds: SMASH 2026, a global community championship transformed into the ultimate celebration of mobile gaming through high-stakes tournament tracks and innovative content creator initiatives.
Alongside the competitive updates, the leading game developer introduced the Wild Rift Creator Program and Nexus Elite Program, setting a new benchmark for collaborations with mobile gaming influencers.
The Road to SMASH 2026: Tournament Format and Qualifications
Deemed the pinnacle of Wild Rift organized play, SMASH 2026 is built on a community-first philosophy designed to convert player passion into active participation. Taking place in South Korea this November, the third edition of SMASH will feature two distinct competitive tracks:
The Community Champions Cup: Headlined by top players from global markets fighting for ultimate Wild Rift supremacy.
The Creator Showmatches: Featuring winners from the Wild Rounds’ separate Creator Track going head-to-head.
Riot Games is currently executing regional playoffs across six major gaming hubs: the Philippines, Brazil, China, South Korea, Vietnam, and Türkiye.
Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open Details
In the Philippines, the journey unfolds via the official local qualifier, the Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open, which kicked off on June 4.
Split 1: Currently underway and running through July.
Split 2 Registration: Set to open on July 6 for aspiring local teams.
The Finals: Scheduled for September 25 to 27, where the top eight teams from both splits will clash for a Php 1,000,000 total prize pool.
Additionally, Riot Games will host a dedicated Creator Track from August to September 2026. This track will challenge gaming creators across various alternative game modes, including AARAM and 2v2. The top community and creator track winners will secure an all-expenses-paid trip to South Korea in November to represent the Philippines on the global stage.
Upcoming Wild Rift Patch Updates: 6C and 6D
To maintain global competitive momentum, Riot Games outlined its upcoming gameplay roadmap, building upon the foundations of 6A: Ionia Celebrations (released in February) and 6B: Wild Circuit (released in April).
